saoirse dream - "grimdark" OUT NOW

grimdark, the sophomore album of emotronica artist saoirse dream, is out now via Lauren Records.

Listen to grimdark now on all streaming platforms and purchase the vinyl, CD, and cassette from our store.

grimdark is an eight-song exploration of grief, rage, transness, and speculative collapse. Taking an archivist's approach to the end of the world, the new record leans into a strikingly grittier sonic palette, introducing towering guitars and distortion into the shimmering electronics of her earlier work.

Through experimental production and unflinching lyricism, grimdark attempts to explore the question: what does it mean to make speculative art in an era where so many of us cannot imagine things improving?
