18 years since the American release of their “LIBIDO EP” from Phat ‘n’ Phunky Phonics, a new best-of album encompassing the entirety of Ging Nang Boyz’ career is set to be released by Lauren Records on March 14th, 2025.
In 2021, Ging Nang Boyz released “Boi Meets Girrrl” (Japanese title 「少年少女」) the theme song to the TV anime Sonny Boy. Amid the growing popularity of Japanese music abroad, this song helped reignite international interest in Ging Nang Boyz. This release includes “Boi Meets Girrrl” as well as a previously unreleased version of “Nikaisen”.
The cover artwork has been designed by Jesse Michaels, vocalist of the iconic punk band Operation Ivy.
