Introducing FILM, formed in 2021 by Joe Reinhart (Algernon Cadwallader, Hop Along) TJ DeBlois (A Life Once Lost, Halfway To Holland, Like Lions) & Ken Vasoli (The Starting Line, Vacationer). First single, “Roundabout” out now. Debut record, “Permanence” comes out May 22nd on Lauren Records. These initial sessions were tracked in Spring 2022 at Headroom Studios, Philadelphia, originally intended as a demo. In a tragic turn of events, their dear friend and drummer TJ DeBlois suddenly passed away in January 2023 at the age of 38.
After a period of bereavement, Joe & Ken, picked up the task of completing these recordings to properly honor their fallen brother and immortalize his shining final performance. The result is this very raw and personal album.
FILM remains united in loud music, and have subsequently recruited the decorated drumming expertise of Chris Wilson (Hammered Hulls, Ted Leo and The Pharmacists, Titus Andronicus) to complete the 3-piece.
